You Know That It's One of Those Days When...
You know that it's one of those days when you sleep on the couch, all your nails are bitten off, your hair is falling out, and you just want to crawl into bed with hot chocolate and now come out of the covers for 24 hours in hopes that you have somehow formed a cacoon of refreshment. But that's not the case. Instead, your sitting through class, eating, and somehow finding EVERY way possible not to study for the four tests you have this week which are causing you grief because you are just a little girl and can't handle it. But then you get a present in the mail that just turns life around, and dad says, "it's okay Morgan, I will still love you even if you do fail in all of your classes." And that's what matters most. So please excuse me while I go eat my feelings away with salt and vinegar chips.

A Case of the Mondays.
I have come down with a very bad sickness involving the first day of the week. So, I hope you enjoy these while I don't do anything all day. And hope that I don't have this sickness all week.

Awkward And Awesome Thursday!
AWKWARD:
1. When the maintenance man comes to fix your light bulbs that were out and looks at you and says this: "mam, your light bulbs don't need to be changed, they just need to be screwed in a little bit..." HA. HA. I knew that...you can just call me mr. fix it?
2. That man who is CLEARLY balding on the back of his head, and what does he do about it? He overcorrects his self-consciousness and grows the rest of his hair long, and then braids it into a ponytail. I'm sorry but yuck.
3. When you are eating chocolate and you of course spill it down your face so you wipe it off. But no, someone has to make a comment that you still have chocolate on your face when it was indeed a pimple. Thanks for pointing out what wasn't already noticable.
4. Getting a parking ticket. Which isn't either awkward or awesome, but I thought I would just share my rage mr. fifteen minutes before five o'clock. Curse you officer number 63.
5. When you are rollerskating and holding hands with Kaela when out of nowhere some stranger rides inbetween you and says, "LIMBO!!" until Kaela accidentally hits him with her skate and he crashes on his face. Limbos over.
AWESOME:
1. Drinking milk out of your own carton. This is a new realization to me, not only do I have my own carton, but it requires less dish washing. Go green!
2. When you accidentally set your alarm for 7:44 in the p.m. and still manage to wake up directly at 7:44 in the a.m. thank you morning gods.
3. Driving with the windows down, but the heat is on. Oh my, it is the perfect combination of hot and cold.
4. Currently having 112.5% in psychology at this very moment. Yeah...let's see how long that will last...
5. New obsession: Raquetball. Love it. I'm going to start playing it all the time. Well, until I get a ball to the face.

The Wedding: Part II
Okay okay dear ones, I am sorry that it took so long, but they are here! Just a few more pictures to celebrate family, life, new beginnings, and love. (Which that didn't sound corny at all...) But it is just so crazy to think that not even a month my sister left me! And to think that we don't have the same initials anymore; how dare her. But I hope that these will be captured as memories forever and the two love birds aren't trying to kill each other yet...love you guys! And it may be me but I think some of these could possibly belong on a hallmark card. Just sayin.

This Is R-Town.
Over the weekend little miss Kaela invited me and Jessie over to her house in Riverton to celebrate her mother Julie's birthday. While we were there we went to a movie, grabbed lunch, watched her stud little brothers throw down on the basketball court, celebrated the chinese new year (which is today by the way, konichiwa) hung out with friends and family, went for late-night milk shakes, and so much more! It is always a pleasure to go to Kaela's little neck of the woods for the weekend and be spoiled by her oh-so-wonderful family. Until next time!

Awkward And Awesome Thursday!
AWKWARD:
1. Realizing that the bookstore closed in ten minutes so I sprint to return my book on the last day, but was in my gym clothes. So I don't know what I got more dirty looks from, the fact that there was snow on the ground and I was in shorts, or because the sun was at that perfect angle where you could see just how hairy my legs were. It's winter people, calm down.
2. When you are talking to someone at Special Olympics and he just has a hard time focusing to your face and not to your chest. My eyes are up here buddy.
3. So I have this habit of putting my necklace in my mouth subconsciously. Not the whole thing, just a little piece. Well, finally someone says, "does your necklace taste good or what? I looked over at you ten minutes ago and you still have that necklace in your mouth." Um, yes, yes it does thank you very much.
4. When a boy, trying to be all impressive, says, "did you know that it is impossible to crack an egg by squeezing it with one hand?" Well guess what? He proved the impossible all over my clothes. And I was not impressed.
5. When the bus is super packed and you are lucky enough to have a seat when mr. beer belly over here stands right in front of you and decides to lean out the window. So his stomach is in your face. mmmmm.
AWESOME:
1. Those kind-hearted boys who give up their seats for you on the bus. I'm sure the boy couldn't tell I was a girl (it was one of those days) but nonetheless, still thoughtful.
2. The fact that it was supposed to snow a foot last night and to wake up to not only having it rain, but the previous snow is completely gone. Spring! Spring! Spring!
3. Winning third place in our buildings door decorating contest. Which isn't saying much, but there was some stiff competition, and free ice cream is free ice cream.
4. Waking up thinking that it's 7:45 and you have to wake up, and looking at the clock and seeing that it is only 5:00. Praise the sleep gods.
5. How quickly this week has gone by, thank you Martin Luther King Jr., you have done so much for my life, including making my weekends happier.

USU Special Olympics: Regional Edition
Kaela And Travis |
Me and Devon |
Vicki really like that Deal or No Deal Game |
Well, it was a little disorganized so the athletes were confused on when and where to bowl, I was stressed because I didn't really know either, and everyone just wanted to bowl. Eventually our players got set up and were locked and ready to go. Each bowler bowled three games and competed against the other athletes on their lanes. It was so much fun to see how everyone was enjoying themselves and just appreciated the event. It just goes to show you how grateful you can be to have your life because these people have daily struggles, and are so happy to be alive, that even another's company, or a bronze metal can cheer them up. Overall, it was a absolute joy of a day, but very long.

Life Lately According To My iPod.
1. Going to the crepery to celebrate being home and birthdays.
2. Getting cozy on the couch.
3. Bus rides early in the mornings.
4. Brownies, brownies, brownies.
5. It seems like all I do these days are read books. Not even the fun kind.
6. Homemade donuts thank you very much.
7. Snow, trees, and sunshine love.
8. Hot chocolate to keep me sane.

Awkward And Awesome Thursday!
AWKWARD:
1. When you are walking around barefoot in a hotel and you step in gum. Who wants a piece?
2. Driving back home when you look over and see a man driving, and woman reclined with a facemask over her face. No...no a ski mask, but the masks that your dentists wear. My family was rather concerned.
3. Sitting and keeping to myself just reading for my institutions class when a bumch of African-Americans walk by. (No, I am not racist) and realizing that when I looked at my book across the top in large letters it read: AFRICAN SLAVERY.
4. That kid who sits next to you in class and instead of listening and taking notes on the lecture he sleeps. And not only does he sleep on you, but he snores. loud people. And when he wakes up? Um...hey? Can you please not use me as a pillow the next time to decide to waste your time in the class? THANKS.
5. When you're at the gym and this kid says, "Darn, I forgot my waterbottle." Me, being the friendly and polite person that I am reply, "If you want you can have some of mine." (mind you I have never seen slash met this boy before) He just gives me a weird look and says, "no....I'm good..." BUT don't worry because I have now seen him everyday since then at the gym.
AWESOME:
1. You know, there is just one thing that I love more than anything on earth and it is grandpa kisses. As weird as that may sound, my grandpa still percieves me as a little girl so when I see him, which isn't often, he kisses me. And yes, that is the only kisses I get from boys now.
2. Coming back from break thinking that you have NO food whatsoever, and realizing in the verrrry back of the freezer is one piece of chicken that you didn't eat. Good feeling my friends.
3. New semester, and new priorites. Who would have thought that I would be studying, but staying ahead of schedule? Talk about straight A's.
4. Waffles at midnight. There is just something about eating breakfast food not only for dinner, but in the middle of the night with friends. Such a bonding experience. Even though the new kids in our building think we're crazy anyway.
5. Feeling crazy sore. I know that sounds lame, but for me I never get sore, so when I do that's when I actually feel accomplished. Hooray for no freshman fifteen! Yet.

Where Have You Cabin?
Over Christmas break, my best friend Kyra and her family were kind enough to let me stay at their cabin up in MCcall, Idaho. Over my week there we:
Played dress up.
Hung out with smelly dogs. There were four of them.
Celebrated Christmas as a family. And by that I mean I watched them celebrate Christmas as a family.
Hung out by the fireplace looking at the exotic African animals that were mounted all over the house.
Went out to eat and watched everyone in the family play on their Iphones except for me.
We also played games, watched every Harry Potter movie in order, wrote poetry, made delicious food, hung out in our pajamas all day, and was pretty much lazy the entire time. Was it worth it? Yes. Did I love it? Yes. So thank you Transtrums for your hospitality! Unitl Summer!

A Typical Family Outing.
While there is NOTHING to do in Cedar City, Utah other than watching paint dry or grass grow my family took as close as shot as they could get to having "fun". So we hitched up the ole station wagon ( and by that I mean truck, and no I am not a part of the Brady family) and drove down yonder to the ole bowlin alley. I have to say that I wasn't on my A game, or B game for that matter. But luckily I didn't end up in last place....and you would have thought that the bowling league I was in ten years ago would have helped. After we had some fine dining and ate the best burgers and fries I have ever had. One point for Cedar; they have good food. I guess it was just another one of those bonding times for us, how lovely. And strike, you're out.

The Wedding: Part I
Okay so not the best photography on my part, but the best are yet to come! On Saturday my dearest sister and her fiance got married!! It was a simple and low key wedding, but it was filled with family, food, laughter, and love. The ceremony itself took place in The Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter Day Saints and it was decorated with teal, black, and silver fabrics and lights and ribbons and all sorts of things. It really looked nice and the vows were so sweet. After the ceremony, who I got to walk down with my four-year-old nephew Maddux, we all came together and ate a really good luncheon and gathered as family and friends. EVEN AFTER that was the recpetion where I stood in line and greeted strangers and ate more and danced and you know all that other wedding ritual stuff. Such as throwing the bouqet. (No worries, no catching of the flowers for me.) And after all the celebrating and goodbyes was the cleaning up. Which I would have to say was the most stressful part of the day. Go figure. But congratulations you two, I love you tons!!

Awkward And Awesome Thursday!
AWKWARD:
1. When you run into a really attractive guy from school at the Nike store while waiting in line to pay. And you are chatting it up only to find that an employee comes up to you and says, "you know that you have been standing in the exit line for like five minutes?" Yeah, it was really good talking to you, I'm just going to walk away now...
2. The fact that I now text people in my sleep. Don't worry, I wake up not remembering it. So if I text you in advance, sorry.
3. When your at dinner and you go to squeeze lemon into your water and the lemon instead turns on you and squeezes its acid into your eyes. And of course your dinner date goes into the bathroom conveniently at the exact same time. So the only person who sees you jump and scream is a woman across the restaraunt. And then we made awkward eye contact for about thirty seconds. BUT even better, my eye contact was with watering eyes.
4. When you cry from reading about another blogger announcing her pregnancy. You don't know her.
5. Working on my fitness at the gym and about to finish on the stair master, when you take a step and the machine slips from under you and you fall directly on your face. On the stairs. And the woman next to you doesn't feel the need to help, but only show me the fact that there is a sign that clearly says, "out of order". THANKS FOR THE HELP. And instead of leaving in embarrassment, I proceeded to work out on the machine right next to the woman.
AWESOME:
1. When there are available car washes open twenty-four hours, and you need one at four-in-the-morning.
2. The amount of free food that I have been getting lately, I will surely miss that when I'm home. Except if it is Marc's cookies.
3. The red pants. I finally broke down and I bought them at Target.
4. My sewing machine! Boy, oh boy do I not know how to use it, but you just wait because before long I will sew something.
5. All of the family I am about to see and the upcoming wedding excitement! Yayayay!
